Businesscomparison.com announce charity partnership

At Businesscomparison.com we have an exciting new partnership to announce and, unusually for us, it’s not with another business! We’re proud to be supporting Hope House who are our charity partners for 2017.

When we met with Nicola Sciarrillo from Hope House and heard about their work to provide care and support for life-limited children, young people and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales we knew we wanted to get on board.

Hope House offer a range of services, including respite and end-of-life care at the hospices and/or within the family home, and support such as counselling, advocacy and the promotion of children, young people’s and carers’ rights. The charity must raise over £4 million every year to maintain their services and receive just one month’s funding from statutory bodies.

During 2017 the team at Businesscomparison.com will be turning our hands (and feet) to fundraising – raising money for the local babies, children and young people supported by Hope House Children’s Hospices.

Head of Businesscomparison.com Philip Brennan comments:

“As a company based at the Steam Mill in Chester we felt very strongly that we wanted to support an organisation that provides a valuable service to local children, young people and their families. When we met Nicola and heard about the work that Hope House do to support those with life-limiting conditions, both at their hospices and in the community, we were very keen to get on board with the charity. We have a great team at Businesscomparison.com who are enthusiastic about raising funds in all kinds of weird and wonderful ways.”

Customer Support Manager Helena Shoob comments:

“We have lots of activities planned to support Hope House over the coming year.  We’re particularly keen for employees to pitch in the business challenge to grow a £50 investment into much more so that the charity can access much needed funds to help run their valuable service. A group of us are also in training for the Yorkshire 3 three peaks challenge in the summer and hope to raise thousands through sponsorship. We’ll take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in under 12 hours.”
