Can Innovative Disruptors help SMEs within the UK up their skillset?

According to research 20% of employees do not trust their managers. The main reason for this is that they do not feel supported, in fact 59% feel that way. They believe that people are often given managerial positions but do not have the correct skillset to become a good manager. This presents a challenge for businesses as it creates a lack of morale within the workplace.

Together, the GGI and The Red Thread Partnership have recently joined to tackle these issues, with the programme, ‘World Class SME.’

The founding partner of the GGI, Wayne Clarke comments;

“World Class SME is designed to help UK companies win in every competitive and global business world. It levels the playing field as we know that managerial strength is key to productivity, customer service delivery and profitability. We believe is it a 21st-century solution for today’s time-poor manager and the cost-constrained world.”

The managing director at The Red Thread, Freddie Guilmard shares;

“This I another commitment from The Red Thread to be seen as a disruptor in the Learning and Development sector by enabling managers to get access to World Class content at an affordable cost.”
