5 events to look out for this global entrepreneurship week

Global entrepreneurship week (GEW) kicks off today with hundreds of events happening up and down the country. Last year in the UK over 500 partner organisations hosted around 2,500 events that reached more than 340,000 entrepreneurial people across the UK.

Here are some of our favourite events to look out for this global entrepreneurship week:

1. Question time for entrepreneurs

14th November 2016

19:00 – 21:30

British Library Conference and IP centre

This is an opportunity to get advice from leading business experts on how they made a success of their enterprises. Wayra founder Simon Devonshire, Montezuma co-founder Helen Pattinson, and Lesley Batchelor OBE; director general of the Institute of Export & International Trade will be giving their insights.

2. Work Smarter hacks to success

15th November 2016

18:00 – 20:00

Launch22, London

Join Mr Work Smarter to learn about the best productivity tools to save you time, manage and grow your business. This workshop will focus on the tricks and tools to help you manage your time with successful outcomes.

3. Celebrating female creative leaders

16th November 2016

18:00- 19:30

London South Bank University

Since 2012 the numbers of women working across UK creative and media services has increased to 36 per cent. At this event panel of female entrepreneurs will be on hand to participate in a discussion about what it takes to succeed as a woman in the creative industries.

4. The business show 2016

17th – 18th November, 2016

Olympia London

The Business Show 2016 | United Kingdom

25,000 Businesses 250 Seminars 350 Exhibitors 12 Masterclasses are expected to take part at this year’s event. Keynote speakers include Hilary Devey CBE, Touker Suleyman, Edward Relf and Rafael dos Santos.

5. Rock Solid: How to build effective start up teams

18th November 2016

10am – 12noon
