Here at Businesscomparison.com we’re celebrating being named as start-up of the year at the Cheshire Business Awards.
The ceremony was held at Chester cathedral which provided a stunning backdrop to what was a fantastic celebration of local business talent. Other winners of the night included The Ice Cream Farm, Chester cathedral, TechnoSpark and Lucy Quatermaine. Granada Reports anchor woman Lucy Meacock hosted the event which was sponsored by SAS Daniels.
The award is our fourth accolade this year and will be added to the collection along with SME Website of the Year, B2B E-commerce website of the year and our Online Business Award for Finance and Insurance services.
Head of Businesscomparison.com, Philip Brennan comments,
“In just over a year the team has grown rapidly and we have a highly skilled, highly motivated team. Our objective is to help businesses so we get a buzz from seeing more and more of them using the site. The recognition we have received over the past few months is testament to the hard work and effort of the team has put in over the last year.
“It’s fantastic to be recognised locally, regionally, nationally and internationally for what we do to support small and medium sized businesses. The team at Businesscomparison.com work incredibly hard to provide the best possible service for businesses to compare deals on energy, business insurance, loans, bank accounts, commercial mortgages and business insurance. Everything from design to content is done in-house at our office in Chester.
“We’re looking forward to building on our recent successes and continuing to offer comparison in the SME marketplace. For too long now small and medium sized businesses have been overlooked. A combination of inertia and imperfect information means that they have been paying too much for their energy, finance and banking. Businesscomparison.com is here to change that and ensure every single UK business makes the most of its money.”
Businesscomparison.com has also been nominated as Comparison Website of the Year 2016 which will be decided by a public vote.
