Andy Murray grows his small business empire

Andy Murray has added to his business portfolio with a new investment in a company specialising in flat-folding bike helmets.

The tennis pro was one of more than 400 individuals who had helped Morpher raise nearly £700,000 on crowdfunding platform Seedrs.

Morpher Helmet, is the world’s first flat folding bicycle helmet. It folds and unfolds in seconds and slips into a bag when not in use. Morpher overcomes the problem of the 83% of cyclists who won’t wear a helmet because they find them cumbersome to carry when not in use.

The backing follows a number of investments made by the Scottish sportman who has assumed an advisory role at Seedrs in June 2015.

Murray has previously said about his investments,
